Grason
A service connecting reliable staff with trustworthy employers

Entrepreneurs need to be able to react swiftly to a rise (or fall) in demand for their service. And employees want to be able to choose, based on criteria that are important to them, when and where they will work. It’s a trend that is beginning to touch an ever-growing number of fields and creating an employment ecosystem known as the gig economy.

After a start in the hospitality industry, Grason is now bringing flexibility and reliability to the rest of the labour market. Grason’s mobile app helps companies hire reliable staff with flexibility and ease, at a time and in numbers that are needed. On the other side of the equation, the app allows workers the freedom to choose work according to their needs and required level of remuneration.

In the restaurant industry, approaches to staffing have not changed much in the industry for decades. People still have to work fourteen-hour shifts and alternate short and long workweeks. It is no surprise that hospitality staff are overworked and unmotivated to improve customer service. That’s what we seek to change with Gastro, and to expand gradually to other sectors.

Where you don’t need a server to pay your bill and the manager finds reliable personnel through an app.

At Miton we have been watching the hospitality startup scene for a long time. As a result, we can now welcome two new startups to our portfolio – Grason and Qerko. We have been with both projects since their beginnings and have invested a total of 500,000 Euro.
